What's happened? In the first quarter of 2023 the prices of previously owned homes rose by 2.9%. On the yearly basis the prices have increased by 7.3% . This positive trend was mentioned all over the country.
Regions. The most year-on-year price growth for homes and apartments from owners was registered in Murcia (+4.6%). It is followed by Andalusia (+4.2%) and the Valencian Community (+3.8%).
On the other hand, the minimum increase was noted in Asturias, Castile-la-Mancha and Euskadi, where prices rose by only 0.6-0.8%.
Rating. Balearic Islands is the most expensive location in Spain to purchase housing. In general owners ask an average of €3,750 per square meter. Madrid is next (€3,110).
Murcia remains the most affordable region. Despite a significant increase in prices, the cost of square meter here is only €1,130.
