SLEEPING BEAUTY OF MECKLENBURG

Fairytale castle is looking for a new owner!

Schlemmin Castle was built on the foundation of an old 14th-century castle for the landowner Wilhelm Ulrich von Tun and is one of the most important architectural monuments of Western Pomerania, a castle in the traditional Tudor / Neo-Gothic style. Four differently and asymmetrically designed facades, towers, bay windows and battlements are the epitomes of feudal and chivalrous architecture.

The building also has 3 rooms and currently 36 hotel rooms with 72 beds and built-in bathrooms of different categories. All halls, corridors and guest rooms are lovingly furnished with many valuable antiques. All rooms are in good condition and individually decorated. The castle also has a wedding room, where an average of 60 wedding ceremonies are held annually.

A large landscape park was created in the 18th century as a baroque park. It was later transformed into an English landscape park. The park is open to the public.
