VILLA BIANCA is the name chosen for the largest and most prestigious villa within the property, located on the territory of the “Pulicinu” resort of Ardzacena, which is an outstanding example of a Mediterranean maquis with vegetation at the foot of a group of granite rocks overlooking the Bay of Cannigione.
A project to expand the villa has already been implemented.
Currently, the property is a complex of buildings built in the 1960s in the ideal Costa Smeralda style, with a residential villa in the central arcade, a separate basement auxiliary building and a large outdoor swimming pool. All in a small park with essences and shrubs typical of the Mediterranean maquis.
The name Costa Smeralda was first introduced in the sixties by SARS, the Arab Prince Karim Aga Khan at the mention of the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, where a small group of international investors gave birth to the “Costa Smeralda Consortium”, a non-profit organization established on March 14, 1962, with the aim of creating a program of urban development and the implementation of infrastructure that can optimally improve the value of elite tourism. The responsibility for the development of the territory was then added to the responsibility for protecting and strengthening the construction fund, a new concept of tourism, the exclusivity of which is now recognized worldwide and which has made it a high-quality brand. It stretches along the coast with a length of 88 km and covers the territory between Portisco and Poltu-Cualtu, bounded by two monolithic granite rocks with a bas-relief "Costa Smeralda". Its territory is characterized by the presence of numerous coves, small beaches, and has a vast inland area, animated by granite hills covered with Mediterranean vegetation and olive groves. The tourist attraction is easily accessible from the main European capitals and the most important Italian capitals from Olbia Costa Smeralda International Airport, which is 40 km away.
