This stunning fortified farmstead dating back to the 12th century is on a high position looking down on the vineyards of the renowned Greve in Chianti, in Tuscany.
In the 17th century, during the conflicts between Siena's Ghibellines and Florence's Guelphs, the property was severely damaged; when it was renovated, its original structure was maintained, as the design was based on the original structure of this fortification. The floors were also brought back to their original style thus recreating a historical atmosphere.
