A historic 18th century Chianti villa developed as seen today from what remains of an ancient castle dating back to the XI century, clearly visible in the internal spaces of the villa, where some imposing doors and passages are well preserved in typical Sienese stone, medieval arches, perhaps the proof of an ancient tower as well on the so-called "bertesca" still present today in one of the rooms, the narrow holes used for the defence of the castle.
