Beschreibung

Villa in Portofino

This wonderful and unique villa is in one of the most suggestive and desirable locations in Portofino, namely in what was once the medieval Cervara Abbey Park in the Bay of Paraggi.
Completely immersed in the peaceful greenery and overlooking the sea in two different directions, the property can be reached via an elevator embedded in the rock or via a beautiful path in the park. Villa Paraggina has hosted many famous people in the past and was once the temporary residence of Oscar Wilde during his Ligurian period.
The property includes the main villa, a secondary villa, an annex, an antique greenhouse and various warehouses, all of which are entirely surrounded by panoramic terraces and gardens where cypresses, palms, pines and other exotic plants grow. There is also land with an olive grove of approximately one hectare.
The main villa overlooking the Bay of Paraggi has spectacular views of the coast with Castello Brown in the background. It is distributed on two levels. On the first level is the living room with a fireplace, sitting room, dining room, kitchen and services. Upstairs are three bedrooms with three bathrooms and a dressing room.
The secondary villa which faces the Bay of Santa Margherita Ligure, is spread over one floor with a large liveable terrace overlooking the sea. Inside is the living area with a lounge and kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The annex consists of a small detached structure with two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The panoramas are breathtaking with the spectacularly evocative fairytale atmosphere of the Bay of Paraggi and the impressive expanse over the Bay of Santa Margherita Ligure.
A parking space is available with the concrete possibility of buying others. In addition, it is possible to install a beautiful swimming pool.
Excellent privacy.
The ancient “Portus Delphini” has very remote origins, which are related to its position and made it a safe harbour for ships. Thanks to its location and its charming nature, Portofino earned the nickname “Pearl of the world.” It has been a destination for VIPs and stars for many decades. Portofino is visited on a daily basis by princes, kings, actors, models and sport stars from all around the world. From the time of the large influx of foreign visitors, first British and then Germans, Portofino’s economy was closely linked to tourism. The characteristic “Piazzetta” – which is overlooked by bars, restaurants, shops, boutiques and other commercial activities – was recognized in July of 2012 as Historical place of Italy, the first and only certificate issued by the homonymous association for its historical and cultural value.
