VILLA MARIGNANA BENETTON

Villa Marignana Benetton, was built in the 18th century and was summer residence of noble Venetian families. Finally it was bought by Toni Benetton, one of the greatest contemporary sculptors of macrosculputure. The villa with its appurtenances is located in the town Mogliano Veneto between Venice and Treviso. The property, which is accessed through two beautiful iron gates, is divided into the vast park of over 18.000 square meters with an italiana garden. The complex consists of four residential blocks arranged in an L.

Manor house. Typical building with a Venetian layout in which the interiors is based on the central passing hall spread over three floors. On the ground floor of the main villa there are the large hall and the three suggestive lounges: on the first floor rooms and the former granaries and the top floor was used as a staff residence the ground floor has a tiled flooring and Sansovino-style ceiling while the apartmens on the upper floors are characterized by Venetian terrazzo flooring, stuco on walls and ceiling, boiserie.

Barchessa and stables. At east of the master house, the first barchess developed on two floors, opens on the ground floor with a series of arches and shows crowning a rich setting of neo-east-based setting; the second , defined by a fraced porch, ends with a consecrated gesture offered in Sant'Anna which still houses, on request, religios functions. From Barchessa, framed by large pink oleanders, it is accessed to the stable, where the original maniciers of stone horses are remained intact, in Istrian stone.

Park. The park of Villa Marignana extends for about 18.000 square meters, dominated by flourishing vegetattion with tall trees, lawn areas and a little hill, above which there is another well that originally served for the ventilation of the cellar - icebox below.
