Description

Palace in Venezia

Located in Venice near the Greeks’ Canal (Canale dei Greci also known as Canale di San Lorenzo).
A Palace whose museum quality interiors were fully decorated in the third part of the 18th century in the most exalted Venetian Rococo style, on the occasion of the marriage of Marquis Pano Maruzzi with the Russian Princess Zoie Ghika.
It now stands, impeccably restored and furnished, as well as provided with the most advanced equipment for heating, TV/ radio surveillance, security barriers, and industrial quality water depuration equipment.
An accurate and veritable philological restoration and a professionally curatorial recreation of an XVIIIth century Venetian palazzo, it has received the accolades of the Fondo Ambientale Italiano (The Italian Trust of Historical Houses), as well as the admiring recognition of the Venice Heritage Foundation.
The palace possesses a landing pier on the Canal dei Greci where water taxis can moor complementing the land entrance to the palace.
The ground, first and second floors of the palace occupy approximately 1,300 sq. mt. It also enjoys the property of a private garden (another approximately 350 sq mt), quite ample by Venetian standards, and well maintained as a traditional Venetian garden.
