The property is a former convent of the order of the Clarisse nuns, built directly on the castle walls of Sarteano (Si). The utilities are all present and functioning: electricity, water supply guaranteed through connection to the public waterworks and methane heating system.
The former convent is in excellent condition: the building's external façades are in exposed stone; internally we find floors in both original terracotta and single-fired tiles; the ceilings are also different from one another depending on the rooms: in the restaurant room on the ground floor, for example, we find beautiful barrel vaulted ceilings with a terracotta finish, while the rooms feature ceilings with exposed wooden beams and terracotta tiles. All the fixtures are made of wood.
The former Saint Clair convent is currently a hotel-restaurant and is well-suited to such use by a future purchaser wishing to continue the existing receptive activity, increasing and enhancing its capacity, since the property has great potential for development. At the same time, by changing its use and carrying out some interventions, it could also become a beautiful and important prestigious residence in Tuscany, where to spend one's holidays and free time.
