The castle is located in the town of Dusino San Michele, in the province of Asti, in a strategic location, as it is the gateway to the Monferrato of Asti, which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since June 2014.

The first mention of this medieval castle, originally surrounded by several hundred meters of walls, dates back to the XII century, with reconstructions made in the XIV and XV centuries. One of the reconstructions is an elegant multi-layered window decorated with elements of terracotta and tuff, located on the castle wall facing the city.

Located on a hilltop, with a private park overlooking the city and a chamber inner garden, the castle is located 10 minutes from Villanova d'Asti in a strategic location at the crossroads between Turin, Alba and Asti, half an hour's drive from the capital of Piedmont, as well as from the two capitals of gastronomic and wine tourism, which are the hearts of Asti - Monferrato and Lange, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The castle is both residential and hotel type, is an object of historical value and is under the protection of the Academy of Fine Arts.
