Villa Nike, a prestigious property in Posillipo, also known as "Villa degli Ammiragli", has been the official residence of the Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Forces of Southern Europe until 2013. It rises above the sea-level in the residential street Via Scipione and enjoys an exceptional view wandering over the City of Naples and the Vesuvius, reaching also the Sorrento peninsula and Capri, and embracing the entire Gulf of Naples. The building has an elongated floor plan, stretched out towards the sea, which guarantees to most of the rooms an extraordinary panorama. The esplanade in front of Villa Nike, embellished with centuries-old magnolias, is designed to comfortably receive the guest's vehicles. This villa is currently the subject of a complete renovation and reorganization of both the external and internal environments. The renovation project, curated by a well-known studio of Neapolitan architects, involves the division into 3 large housing units of different sizes. Each unit is developed on two levels: a ground floor consisting of a lounge, dining room and kitchen, with a widely panoramic terrace and an upper floor dedicated to the sleeping area. The units are completed by a basement with boiler room, laundry, ironing room and a gym. The villa has an extraordinary roof top terrace, accessible internally from each unit.
The Eastern unit, exposed towards the Vesuvius, has a commercial surface of 450 square meters. Currently under renovation, it will be delivered once internal wall structures and external areas will be completed. Renderings show approximately the current state of the project.
