Originally built in 1886, this completely renovated carriage-shaped apartment building is notable for the integrity of its original, purposeful structure and the masterful redevelopment and artistic restoration carried out by Michelle Ney, AIA, former president of the American Institute of Architects.
The strength of the design is based on the simplicity of the peak roof design, the central vaulted ceiling of which encloses a solid open strip with airy soaring ceilings and is made of the best materials and technologies of the "smart home". Elementary materials give warmth to the space: wood, metal, glass and stone echo the surrounding nature of the village gardens and the legendary tree-lined street.
