The forest plot of 4.5 HECTARES is located in a pine forest on the shore of the lake. The length of the lake is about 3 km . And the width is from 200 to 500 meters. The place where the camping is located is dry and therefore there are not many mosquitoes. There is a hiking trail around the lake lasting about 8 km. Along the hiking trail there are 5 places for a bonfire with benches. There are three wooden pedestrian bridges in the center of the lake, which allow you to get to the opposite shore and thus shorten the walking route by about 2 times. Pike, perch and roach are found in the lake. In summer there are a lot of mushrooms and berries in the forest.

The campsite is located next to the asphalt road 888, which connects Ristijärvi and Sotkamo. The nearest shop, S-Market, is in Ristijärvi, 18 km away. Sotkamo is 35 km away. Sotkamo has S-market, K-Market, Alko, Tokmani, Lidl and other hardware and construction stores. Kajaani, the center of the Kainuu region, is 40 km away. from camping. The customs crossing from the Russian Federation Luttia – Vartius is about 80 km away .

Under the previous owner, the campsite was open all year round. Currently, the campsite is open from the end of May to the beginning of October.

The main part of the customers are travelers who travel from the south of Finland to the north, to Lapland or Norway and vice versa, return from north to south. The campsite is located approximately in the middle of Finland and therefore it is a convenient place to spend the night. There are also many customers from Europe passing by the Finns.

On the territory of the campsite there are

1. Reception. The total area is 54 m2.
2. A building with shared showers, toilets and a shared kitchen for campers, campers and customers from small houses. The area is 43.5 m2.
3. 4 large houses. The total area of the house is 28 m2, the living area is 23 m2. The cabins have a shower, a toilet, a kitchen corner with a cooktop, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a refrigerator, a set of necessary utensils. The house has a pull-out sofa, a bunk bed, a dining table, a TV. Heating from electric batteries.
4. 6 small houses without amenities. The area of the house is 9 m2. Each house has two single beds, a table, a kitchen corner with a microwave oven, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a refrigerator and the necessary set of dishes. Heating from an electric battery.
5. Sauna. The total area is 37 m2. The sauna has a changing room with benches and a table, a dressing room with a shower and the sauna itself. There is also a room in the building that is not currently in use.

All the houses were built in 1986. All the houses, except the warehouse, have been renovated over the past few years.

The water supply comes from its own well. Sewage runoff occurs in septic tanks.

Camping is sold fully equipped and ready to receive guests (with furniture, household appliances, dishes, blankets, pillows, bed linen ...).
