This family-run hotel is located in the Bavarian Forest.

The Bayerischer Wald National Park is a strip of wild woodlands along the Czech—German border with an area of approximately 2,000 square kilometers and the largest nature reserve in all of Central Europe.

Many centuries ago, Central Europe was covered with wild forests, fragments of which have been preserved in their original form despite the fact that forestry has been actively moving forward in the last couple of centuries. The Bavarian Forest was awarded the title of a national park in 1969 — it is the oldest and largest forest reserve in Germany. Moreover, it is protected by law: felling of trees and other human intrusions into the life of the forest are prohibited here. But on the territory of the forest there are many kilometers of hiking trails with markings, traveling along which everyone who comes here gets the opportunity to find themselves in the charming kingdom of nature.

In the middle of the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park, at the foot of the home mountain "Heidstein", the Hotel Reiterhof Runding welcomes you. Here, from the natural healing climate, as well as from a calm position in the midst of attractive nature with blooming meadows, mixed forests and several sloping heights (approximately 450 - 550 m), the best place to relax with children.

You can walk to the castle ruins on Castle Hill (approximately 700 m) or to the lake. In about 20 driving minutes you reach also nearby towns like Kötzting bathroom (about 9 km), Ham (about 12 km) or Furth in the forest (about 14 km).

The family hotel has 99 apartments, 50 apartments are offered for sale at a price of 15 thousand euros for each. In the future, there is a possibility of buying out the remaining apartments.
