The Dresden district of Pilnitz - originally a fishing and farming village of the Elbe - is located on the right bank of the Elbe and is about 11 km from the city center. Up the Elbe, follow the Dresden district of Sebrigen and the Pirna Pratzschwitz district, followed by Hosterwitz, Niederpoiritz, Wachwitz and Loschwitz downstream. In Loschwitz you can cross the Elbe on the Loschwitz Bridge - the traditional "Blue Wonder" - but you can also take the Elbe ferries to Niederpoiritz (to Tolkewitz/Laubegast) or in the Pilnitz itself (in Kleintzschachwitz). If you climb/drive up the slope of the Elbe, you will cross the forested nature reserve Elbtalhang, and then reach Schönfelder Hochland.

Whoever buys this property continues the best living traditions. First of all, the creation of a steamboat berth in the first half of the 19th century in the village of Pilnitz led to an increase in the influx of Dresden residents. Since 1832, the doctor, psychologist, artist and natural philosopher Carl Gustav Karus lived in a country house in Pilnica.
