To the object:
On the exposed corner plot, surrounded by large buildings, Kálmán Almássy wanted to build a small palace. This was designed and built by Antal Gottgeb.
The palace once housed priceless art treasures, is only a few steps away from the lively Kossuth-Lajos-Street.
The living quarters were placed in a three-winged building, the utility rooms were grouped around a spacious and very intimate inner courtyard, which in the past was equipped with beautiful plants, fountains, statues and an impressive curved staircase.
The inner courtyard sides are kept open, the facade is rather plain - this creates a spacious and free overall impression.
Usage:
The property is currently dedicated as an office property, but a conversion into a hotel (there is an approved conversion plan for a hotel that was drawn up a few years ago and approved by the building authorities. However, this approval expires at the end of 2023 and would then have to be renewed) is also possible as an attractive company headquarters/ medical practice/medical community as well as a representative private residence for one or more families.
