San Buono is a lovely, welcoming town in Abruzzo region. Its foundation dates back to the 15th century. The historical centre of San Buono is on the hill, at altitude of about 470 meters above sea level which opens magnificent views. A quiet measured life of the town will guarantee a relaxing retirement or an easy-paced holiday. There are about 1000 permanent residents in San Buono. Here you will find grocery stores, a supermarket, a post office, a pharmacy and a primary/secondary school. The sea and wonderful sandy beaches are only 20 km from the town. The bus service connects Mafalda with large cities of San Salvo (21 km) e Vasto (27 km).
