Surrounded by an incredibly stunning garden, rich with a wide variety of flowers, plants and sculptures carried out by important contemporary artists, Villa Uva is a villa of exceptional size and luxury. The property’s long driveway marked by rows of vines, which stretch in all directions, immediately gives one an impression of the vastness of this property.
In addition to the 31 hectare vineyard, there is a fascinating cellar where wine is produced including an elegant tasting room and a unique library that can be reached via a long underground passage-way from the villa.
The villa has an elongated shape and its most panoramic side looks out over the spectacular rocky inland promontories that were created by the erosive action of water over hundreds of years. Three adjoining elegant sitting rooms face onto an enormous living room which enjoys spectacularly large windows. In harmony with the living room and the winter kitchen there is a spacious pergola with a table for 12 and an outdoor living space. The bedrooms are luxuriously decorated, with an individual style for each room, each with minibar, telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV and mosquito nets at the windows. The bathrooms are of a very high standard.
The large indoor swimming pool (heated when necessary) looks out onto the panoramic garden and is protected by a glass door that can be partially opened. In harmony with the swimming pool there is a large pergola that can be equipped for lunch or dinner purposes. To reach the swimming pool you cross a large sitting room which boasts a fireplace and a plasma screen TV. The suspended garden, with its geometric-shaped hedges has many pieces of contemporary art. The garden features a brand new outdoor swimming pool, with its own bar and a breathtaking view over the Calanchi Valley.
The villa has 2 kitchens, one for use of the guests (if they wish) and the other (industrial and fully equipped with all modern instruments) used by the chef and staff.
Sleeps: 16 people plus if needed other 5 suites in the annex rented at an extra cost but only together with the main house
Please note: In 2020 the chef is at an extra cost of Euro 1.500,00 per week and only one maid (8 hours per day) is included in the rental. We suggest to hire one or two extra maids (depending on the number of guests) at an extra cost of Euro 700,00 per week (8 hours a day) per maid, to acquire the attentive service that Villa Uva is accustomed to offering its guests.
