Description

This majestic, 17th
century villa is an exceptional, historical palazzo, situated along the
breath-taking shores of Lake Como. This villa, which passed the hands of
secular and religious nobility, has hosted gallant balls and banquets with
Europe's most fashionable. It has housed meetings, concerts, and literary
discussions where history was made. And within its walls remain renowned
baroque masterpieces that have been admired for generations.

Situated on the
western shore of Lake Como, approximately 20 kilometers north of the town of Como. Because the lake's
Alpine ridge resists the northern winds and its great mass of water tends to
reduce sudden drops in temperature, Lake Como is particularly renowned for its generally
mild and moist climate, contributing to the lushness of its shoreline. The flora along the lakeside is varied,
abundant and similar to more southern Mediterranean vegetation: cypresses and laurel trees, camellias,
azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias, and palm trees. This type of vegetation
characterizes the gardens and grounds of this magnificent estate.

The facade,
with simple and sober lines, punctuated by grey stone ornamental carvings, is re-erected in the water of Lake Como.
Encircling the villa stand statues and fountains. From the Strada Regina, a
nymph lowered of blue irises leads to the path to the main house,
lined with box hedges, where plane trees and cypresses grow.

The impressive
main entrance leads to a spacious, luxurious foyer lined with beautiful
frescoes by celebrated baroque artists. From the opulent foyer one can access
the elegant dining area, the classic library, the three salons, and the winter
garden, with flawless antique stone
floors. The interiors of the villa also feature a fully equipped
professional-grade kitchen, an in-home gym, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor endless swimming pool, private lake access, two boathouses, secure parking for ten cars,
reverse air-conditioning and heating throughout the interior, and a fully
integrated security system.

The villa, which has been renovated to provide the
most luxurious facilities, can accommodate up to 12 guests in the main palazzo, additionally up to 8
people in the also recently renovated Western Wing and up to 10 people in the
Villino. The main palazzo
features six spacious, beautifully decorated double bedrooms, all with en-suite
bathrooms, panoramic views.

This villa is where the luxury meets the comfort. Here guests enjoy
the aesthetics of the time past with the comfort of modern luxury.
