This 2,000 hectare (5,000 acre) property lies between Florence, Rome, Siena and Perugia. The exceptional estate is in close proximity to important motorways with access to a number of airports such as Florence, Perugia, Rome and Pisa. The lands through the centuries have been ruled alternatively by the Florentines and Sienese however today the property is shared by the provinces of Arezzo and Siena.

This property has unhindered views of the city of Siena, and surrounding views including the beautiful rolling hills of the Crete senesi. The extinct volcano Mount Amiata looms to the south and to the north the Apennine mountains. This territory was settled in ancient times by the Etruscans, and Romans. Siena was founded by the Lombard people and indeed there is evidence of this throughout the property.

The land is a mixture of diverse woodlands, olive groves and vineyards. The total surface area of buildings and production sites is approximately 12,000 square metres There are many typical and romantic Tuscan farm houses, many require a significant restoration , however many have already been restored and are used for tourism. At present the total area of vineyards is 65 ha including: of which 42.5 ha are currently productive. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 350 - 590 m above sea level. Such moderated altitudes and the exposure mostly between the southeast and west characterize the territory with high night/day thermal fluctuations, which contribute to the wonderful aroma and maturity of the grapes. Many vineyards are planted on the tops of the hills, where the presence of certain winds favour the optimal microclimatic conditions and allow for healthy vines for the production of excellent wines. The wine variety is primarily Sangiovese but there is Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Montepulciano, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, Colorino and Pinot Noir.

Currently the property operates 5 fully restored villas as farm-stays or agri-tourism which are popular with tourists from throughout the world.

The total area of olive groves is almost 30 ha but it could easily be expanded to 50 ha. The number of trees is estimated to be 9,600. Current olive oil production is between 4,000 and 8.500 kg

Most of the estate is covered with forest, approximately 1,700 main forest species are oak, chestnuts and pines. It is possible to hunt at the estate. The types of hunting include: pheasant, partridge and wild boar hunting with dogs. There is roe deer hunting.
