We propose a typical Italian cottage on the hills of Cernobbio, overlooking the panorama up to the skyline of Milan and a glimpse of Lake Como.
The property is on two levels, in addition to the basement floor, which overlooks the large terrace. The cottage is accessed through the entrance portal on the first floor which is divided into the living/dining room with a wood-burning fireplace, an open kitchen and a bedroom.
The spiral staircase invites to the second floor in an open attic space used as a bedroom and an exit to the small, nice garden.
The cottage is equipped with electricity and cistern water. Heating is via LPG. The single garage completes the property.
Above the well-known Cernobbio and the hamlet of Piazza Santo Stefano, the road continues towards Monte Bisbino, along a fairly easy road that crosses groups of houses inserted in the typical meadows of the mountain up to Madrona. From the cottage, there are pedestrian paths that descend to Cernobbio and excursions to the summit of Monte Bisbino.
The top can be reached with a road that starts from Cernobbio on Lake Como and climbs for about 17 km, up to the summit of the Monte (1,325 meters). The road has panoramic points of Como, the lake and the surrounding mountains.
On the top, there is a Sanctuary dedicated to the Blessed Virgin which is a reference point for the community of the "Beata Vergine" del Bisbino, a weather station and a restaurant. As places to visit, there are winding paths and mule tracks ideal for hiking. The effort is great, but at the end of this “climb”, you arrive in paradise.
