Unique Art Nouveau building, one of the brightest Art Nouveau objects in the heart of the old city of Riga. This building is one of the most famous architectural objects in Riga, information and photos of this house can be found in almost all tourist brochures and guides of the old city of Riga. The first mention of that address Kaleju 23 was found in 1823, (photo of the project in the appendix) there are also information from central archive that in 1882 was made restoration of the building; First house project was made by the architect OTO DICE. The building, in the form as we know, was designed by the famous architect PAUL MANDELSTEAM in 1903. The house was designed as an apartment building and cafe / shop on the ground floor.

The house is an object of the zone of architectural monuments of national importance, as well as UNESCO cultural heritage.
The building was completely renovated in 2018 - facade, roof, communications, interior. (all paper work are done properly) All the necessary historical research and expertise has been done.
All historical elements of the facade and the interior have been preserved and restored. Historic gilded elements of the facade were restored, decorative window frames on the 3rd floor were restored (each window is unique). The only one of its kind (in Latvia) automatic facade lighting system - hidden lighting elements that do not spoil the appearance of the facade (German - Austrian system)
All new modern communications - new electrical wiring, water sewage, central heating system (heat meters on each floor), fireplaces on each floor, new ventilation system, common air conditioning system in each room (DAIKIN), video cameras, video door phones, alarm system, etc.
