City residence near the lake. The residence "Arcadia" has an ideal location on the narrow and quiet semi-pedestrian Egliz Catholic Street, in front of Casino Avenue and Market Square, close to all city amenities (shops, public transport, highway).
At the request of the Historical Monuments Service, the new building partially preserves the historical facade of the previous building, combining the past and modern reconstruction. This building previously housed shops, offices and luxury apartments.
Geneva designer Claudio Colucci was able to emphasize the combination of the past and the modern, while preserving the identity of "Arcadia" by creating the main entrance to the residence.
A building of traditional construction, which has received a Minergie certificate, in particular, thanks to solar panels. A cooling system using groundwater was also created.
The concept of the residence "Arcadia" is inspired by the main highlights of Montreux, which are music and the lake.
