About Kadikalesi
Kadykalesi is a small, simple and pleasant seaside village on the Bodrum Peninsula, located in the western part of the peninsula, halfway between Turgutreis and Gyumyushlyuk.
Kadikalesi translates as "Judge's Castle" and is named after the residence of a local judge in ancient times. The remains of the building are still visible on the hillside above the city.
Most of the other villages in the area have turned into quite developed cities, but Kadikalesi retains the atmosphere of a small village with a mosque decorated with wisteria, old eucalyptus trees, a short and simple main street leading to the beach, and several shops, cafes. -bars and restaurants.
