Deloitte have presented the 9th edition of the Property Index, which is a survey of the European housing market that covers 23 countries and 67 cities. Here is the list of countries with the most significant growth in new home prices for 2019, according to the survey:

Luxembourg was also distinguished as the most expensive city in Europe: a square meter in a new buildings costs €7,154. Next are France (€4,523) and Austria (€4,176). The cheapest countries are Bulgaria (€550) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (€849).
Among the 23 countries, the price growth was observed in 19. The decrease was observed in 3, which are Serbia (-7.4%), Latvia (-5.4%) and Ireland (1.2%). In Italy, the prices were barely changing (+0.1%).
In addition to market movements, annual prices were also influenced by changes in exchange rates. The most significant change in the national currency against the Euro occurred in 2019 in Israel: -4.29%. The pound fell by 0.92%, but the Norwegian krone and the Hungarian forint strengthened against the Euro by 2.5% and 1.8%, respectively. The Polish zloty also rose by 0.76%.
