According to Idealista, almost 19% of Portuguese apartments rented through the Idealista portal in October were on the market for less than 24 hours.

Details. The length of time during which the property is online before it is handed over depends on the price. Thus, 28% of apartments rented out in less than 24 hours cost less than €750 per month, 22% – from €750 to €1,000 per month, 11% – from €1,000 to €1,500 per month, and 11% – from €1,500 per month.

Cities. If we analyze the regional capitals with the largest number of apartments rented out in October, Braga turned out to be the city where the share of housing rented out in less than 24 hours was the highest, reaching 24% of the total number of transactions.

Next are Lisbon (18%), Coimbra (17%), Setubal (17%) and Aveiro (17%). In the Port, 13% of houses were rented out in less than a day, and Faro 12%.
