All this makes the city promising for both short-term and long-term rentals. The real estate market in Latvia in general and Riga, in particular, is doing well today. Prices were rising in 2021: in the third quarter, apartments in Riga rose by 5.13% year-on-year. The yield is about 4%, although small objects in the center can bring 6%. Realtors promise up to 10% with professional management.

At the beginning of the XX century, Riga became the center of European Art Nouveau, which forms the face of the city. In the post-war years, typical Soviet buildings spread here.
