Property owners in Greece have received their tax bills for 2023

  • 10
Those who find errors in ENFIA pay statements will have the opportunity to correct them by submitting an amending E9 declaration before June 30, 2023

What has happened? The Single Property Tax (ENFIA) payslips for over 7 million property and business owners have been posted on the myAADE digital portal for the financial year 2023.

What does it mean? At the end of the month, most property owners in Greece will be asked to pay their first monthly tax installment. At the same time, some of them will find that ENFIA will be reduced by 50% or completely canceled under certain conditions. The general rates and coefficients are the same as last year’s.

How to pay? This year's ENFIA tax can be repaid in up to 10 installments, one monthly, with the last installment due by the end of February 2024. In the case of the one-off repayment of the tax, no additional deduction is provided.

It is important! Property owners who discover errors or omissions in their payrolls have the opportunity to correct them by filing an amending E9 declaration before June 30, 2023.
According to sources in the tax administration, the E9 platform for submitting initial and amended E9 statements for 2023, in order to make necessary corrections, should open in the next few days.
