As reported by the CS Global Partners, the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis announced the extension of the temporary offer under its Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program in response to unprecedented demand from applicants from the Middle East, Russia and the CIS countries.
For the first time, the temporary offer was launched last year for a period of six months, but due to the continuing interest, it was decided to extend it. The program, established in 1984 after Saint Kitts and Nevis gained independence from the United Kingdom, offers investors a safe and secure path to second citizenship by making an economic contribution to the Sustainable Growth Fund.
The grant option is the fastest and easiest way to obtain citizenship of Saint Kitts and Nevis and the only way that offers a discount on a limited-time offer. Families of up to four people can get citizenship for $150,000 instead of the previous $195,000. This means a price reduction of $45,000.
The Saint Kitts and Nevis CBI program focuses on family investors, which makes it particularly attractive for Middle Eastern and Russian families.
"In addition to the parents and spouses of the main applicants, grandparents over the age of 55 can be included in the application," said Les Khan, head of Citizenship By Investment in Saint Kitts and Nevis, commenting on the significance of the temporary offer.
"We have made these adjustments to take into account families, particularly in Russia and the Middle East, where parents retire early and become dependent on their children at a very early age. [This adjustment] will allow the government of the country to strengthen the care of such families, " he added.
In addition, at the end of 2020, Saint Kitts and Nevis allowed the siblings of the main applicant or spouse to be included in the application, provided that they are unmarried, without children, under the age of 30 and financially dependent on the main applicant.
The CBI program of Saint Kitts and Nevis has a platinum status, thanks to almost four decades of experience in the field of investment immigration. Candidates who have passed all the necessary security checks get access to visa-free travel to more than 150 countries around the world, as well as the right to live, work and study in the country, creating a legacy for their family and passing on citizenship to future generations.
"Saint Kitts and Nevis attracts investors with its industry experience. The focus of investors receiving a second citizenship is the importance of family preservation, and Saint Kitts and Nevis is one of the few programs that takes this into account, " says Paul Singh, Director of CS Global Partners.
When choosing Saint Kitts and Nevis, investors can be sure that they are choosing a program that has stood the test of time and is also recognized as one of the best on the market. In the annual CBI Index 2020 from Professional Wealth Management, owned by the Financial Times Group, the Saint Kitts and Nevis program was awarded the highest points for the system of comprehensive verification of trustworthiness, the timing of obtaining citizenship, the ease of processing applications and much more.
