The share of non-local transactions in the total number of transactions is quite small: someone from abroad buys every 27th residential object. And by the way, in absolute numbers, foreigners in 2020 bought less than in 2019, by about 10%. Spring lockdown had it consequences.

The main foreign buyers are citizens of Iran, Iraq and ... Russia!
People from the Middle East are traditionally the most active: for them, Turkey is not so much a resort as a respectable destination, an outlet to the world. The Iranians bought 7,189 objects, the Iraqis – 6,674, and the Russians - 2,893 objects.
