Top-10 best cities in the world, according to a study by the business consulting company Boston Consulting Group:
The rating is designed to determine the best cities in the world in terms of development and quality of life. For comparison, the analysts used five key parameters: the quality of life, speed of change, social orientation, interaction with the state and economic opportunities. Subcategories included 27 indicators to determine which of the 45 analyzed cities are the best.
Vienna scored the highest in terms of the "quality of life". San Francisco is the first one in "economic opportunities", Mumbai got the biggerst points in "social orientation", Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, is the best at "interaction with the state". Finally, Beijing and Delhi both scored the most on the "speed of change" parameter.
Despite the leading position in the rating, London did not take the first place in any of the above parameters. Moreover, according to the "speed of change" parameter, the British capital occupies one of the last places. The city became the leader due to the fact that it scored good points on other indicators. In addition to "interaction with the state" London is also far from the top of the list.
