The UN Named the Happiest Countries in The World

It turned out that the most satisfied people live in Finland, Denmark and Switzerland.

In 2012, the United Nations declared March 20 to be the International Day of Happiness. On this occasion, every year the organization releases The World Happiness Report, which shows how satisfied people in different countries are with their lives.

The study is based on a survey of 1,000 residents of 149 countries. Respondents were asked to rate their lives on a scale from 0 to 10.

TOP 10 happiest countries in the world in 2021:

  1. Finland
  2. Denmark
  3. Switzerland
  4. Iceland
  5. Netherlands
  6. Norway
  7. Sweden
  8. Luxembourg
  9. New Zealand
  10. Austria
  • Russia ranked 76th out of 149, Ukraine – 110th, Belarus-75th, Kazakhstan – 45th.
  • Popular European destination: Bulgaria – 88, Germany – 13, Czech Republic – 18, Spain – 27, Greece – 68, Turkey – 104, France – 21, Italy – 28.
  • The most" unhappy " coutnries are the residents of Afghanistan (149). Zimbabwe (148), Rwanda (147) and Botswana (146) are slightly higher.
