Montebello di Bertona is a district center (commune) in the province of Pescara, located at an altitude of 615 m above sea level on the territory of the Gran Sasso Monti della Laga National Natural Park about half an hour's drive from the Adriatic coast. About 1,000 people live in Montebello di Bertona. The town has grocery stores, a pharmacy, primary and secondary schools, a medical studio, a post office and other necessary infrastructure.
The place is ideal for lovers of outdoor life and outdoor sports. Sci club Villa Celiera is 7 km from the town center, where cross-country skiing trails open in winter, and the rest of the year there are cycling and hiking trails and mountaineering classes.
