We offer for sale an ancient palace located in the historic centre of the village of Malcesine, a few steps from the lake.
The building is certainly particular in its conformation, it was in fact conceived as a place for the storage of boats and later transformed into two separate units with a small common open courtyard. Over the centuries the square was then closed off, transforming the two units into one small building.
Careful renovation work has brought the building back to its original rustic appearance. In fact, all the layers of plaster placed over the years have been removed, thus rediscovering the old walls with exposed stone, fossils, original stone slabs and unique pieces of architecture of the time.
As you enter you can taste all the peculiarities of the past centuries, the access doors to the rooms are still the original ones of the time, you immediately notice the attention to detail and research had in the restructuring, from the beginning you have access to the central courtyard with stone faces and marble floor sketches and then access to two main rooms, one used as a laundry space and the other as a small private spa.
The staircase that joins the entrance to the hall is in original stone and is also characterised by the presence of unique original pieces. From here there are two rooms, a main double bedroom, currently used as an office, a bathroom and a room that can be used as a dressing room, as well as a staircase leading to the "pulpit" and, lastly, the staircase leading to the third and last part of the building.
The third floor is characterised by the presence of a kitchen-living room, a bathroom, a hallway room with large windows overlooking the internal atrium and, finally, accessed via a staircase, the attic double bedroom with bathroom and wardrobe.
The railings of the stone staircase and some rooms are in wrought iron, original from 1800.
