According to Endeksa, the average annual increase in the cost of housing in Turkey in December 2022 was 164% (in lira and excluding inflation). The average selling price per square meter was 13,824 Turkish lira ($735), the average price of a residential property was 1.8 million Turkish lira ($95,555). The payback period for investments in Turkish housing was 19 years.
Rating. The provinces with the highest annual growth in thу housing cost in lira in December 2022 were Antalya, Kocaeli, Tekirdağ, and Yalova.
Housing prices in Antalya have increased by 187%, the average selling price per square meter was 20,403 Turkish lira ($1,084).
In Kocaeli, the corresponding indicator increased by 186%, the average selling price per square meter of housing reached 12,004 Turkish lira ($638).
In Tekirdağ, average house prices rose by 177%, the average selling price per square meter of housing was 10,463 Turkish lira ($556).
The average price increase for houses and apartments in Yalova was 177%, and the average selling price per square meter was 12,987 Turkish lira ($690).
